My Comment:
Once again, notice the attitude Jesus takes toward children. Jesus applies the term “babes” or “little children” to those who were receiving and understanding His Word, those who were in his audience, which surely included adults. We need to trust what Jesus says just like the little children as well as adults did in this incident in the Gospel record. Jesus said that this is what pleased the Father.
In order to learn from God’s Word, we must read to learn, not refute.
